The legal bases of the collection, storage and processing of personal data can be found in particular in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

Personal data is information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (Art. 4 no. 1 GDPR). This includes in particular names, address data, telephone numbers or e-mail addresses. However, information on preferences, memberships or e.g. previously visited websites may also constitute personal data.

Contact

If you contact us (e.g. via e-mail or our contact form), the data transmitted by you will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry as well as for possible processing of subsequent questions. Legal basis for the processing is the necessity to perform pre-contractual measures according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We will delete the data accruing in this connection after storage is no longer necessary or we restrict the processing if there are statutory retention obligations.

Disclosure to third parties

We disclose your personal data to third parties insofar as this is required to fulfil contracts or to process payments. Legal basis for the disclosure is the necessity to fulfil a contract according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. A disclosure of personal data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes will not be made without your express consent.

Free brochure and other information and advertising material

You can order a free brochure on our website and also request further information and advertising material for the future.

If you register to receive our brochure and/or other promotional materials, we need a valid address and e-mail address. We will then check and verify your e-mail address using the double opt-in procedure. Shortly after your registration you will receive a confirmation e-mail in which your declaration of consent will be repeated. You can confirm your registration by clicking on the confirmation link within the e-mail. To prove your consent, we store your e-mail address, the text of your consent, the confirmation e-mail, as well as the respective IP addresses, time and date of registration and confirmation.

Your address data and e-mail address will be used exclusively for the purpose of sending you our brochure and other information and will not be passed on to third parties.

Legal basis for the processing is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR

You can withdraw your consent to the storage of this data and to the use of your address and e-mail address for sending the brochure and other information material at any time. The withdrawal can be declared via a link in the information e-mails or by sending a message to the above-mentioned contact data.

Server Log Files

Each time when our website is opened by a user, our hosting provider will store information in a log file. These log files contain information about retrieved data, status codes, time stamps and system information. The data is non-personal, it allows no conclusions to the specific person.

Apart from that, log files also store IP addresses. We cannot readily attribute these to a certain person.

If you would like to view our website, we collect the aforementioned data which is technically required for us in order to show you our website and to guarantee stability and safety. Legal basis for the processing is the necessity to safeguard our justified interests according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Use of cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small files that are downloaded to your access device (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.) and stored by your browser. Essential cookies are stored on your device when you access our website for technical reasons. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, our legitimate interest in the operation of a functioning website. Cookies that are not essential will only be used with your consent. For this purpose, you will be asked for your consent when you access our website for the first time via a settings menu (“Consent Manager”). Web Analysis with Google (Universal) Analytics

Our website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods which enable an analysis of how you use the website, such as cookies. The information generated about your use of this website will as a rule be transferred to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. By activating the IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address will be shortened prior to the transmission within the Member States of the European Union or within other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a server of Google in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be combined by Google with other data.

We use Google Analytics in order to analyse and be able to regularly improve the use of our website. Through the statistics gained we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as the user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data will be transferred to the USA, Google subjected itself to the EU-US Privacy Shield: https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Legal basis for the processing is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time via the Consent Manager.

You can prevent the capture of the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) as well as the processing of such data by Google if you download and install the browser plug-in available from the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can click this link [insert: this link] in order to prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data on this website in the future. When you do this, an opt-out cookie will be stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you need to click the link again.

Conversion monitoring with Google DoubleClick

Google DoubleClick is a service of Google Ireland Limited. DoubleClick uses cookies to display advertisements based on your interests. For this purpose, it assigns a pseudonymous identification number (ID) to your browser, which is used to check which ads were displayed on your browser and which ads were accessed. The cookies do not contain any information that can be traced back to you. The use of DoubleClick cookies enables Google and its partner sites to display ads based on previous visits to our or other web pages on the Internet. Legal basis is your consent according to art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO, which you can withdraw at any time via the Consent Manager. The information generated by the cookies is transmitted by Google to a server in the USA for further information and is stored there. Google will not transfer any data to third parties unless required to do so by law, or unless such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Under no circumstances will Google associate your data with other data collected by Google.

Embedding of YouTube videos

We have embedded YouTube videos in our website that are stored at http://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. These are embedded using the “extended data protection mode”, i.e. no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. The data mentioned in the next paragraph will not be transmitted until you play the videos. We do not have any influence on this data transfer.

When you visit the website, YouTube receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. This occurs regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account that you are logged in to or whether there is no user account. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want your profile to be associated with YouTube, you should log out before playing the video. YouTube stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and/or for designing its website to meet your specific demands. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact YouTube to exercise this right. YouTube videos cannot be displayed without the data transfer described above. It is therefore carried out with the purpose of making our online services more attractive by embedding videos. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in the data protection declaration under this link: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Embedding Google Maps

We have embedded maps from Google Maps on our website. Google Maps is also a service of Google Ireland Limited. Embedding the maps and the associated data transfer serves the purpose of making our website more attractive and making it easier for our customers to find our company headquarters and our dealers. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, further data such as your IP address will be transmitted to Google. This takes place regardless of whether you are logged into your Google user account or not, or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want your profile to be associated with Google, you should log out before visiting our site. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for advertising, market research and / or needs-based design of its website. Such monitoring is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact Google to exercise this right.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by Google can be found in Google’s privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your respective rights and settings to protect your privacy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

Google also processes your personal data in the USA and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.

Google reCAPTCHA

We also use Google reCAPTCHA software provided by Google Ireland Limited on our website. ReCaptcha checks whether data entered on our websites is provided by a human being or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes your behavior as a website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically when you enter the site. For analysis purposes, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent on the site by the visitor or mouse ratings made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The purpose of the processing is to prevent the misuse of input masks by automated programs (bots). Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Google does not combine the data with other information about you. Further information can be found in the Google data protection declaration at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.

Google Web Fonts

To ensure a consistent display of fonts, we use Google Web Fonts provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland on our website. The required web fonts are downloaded by your browser each time you access the website server in order to display texts and fonts correctly. In doing so, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which allows Google to know that a device using your IP address is visiting our website. The use of Google Web Fonts and the associated data processing serves our interest in the appealing presentation of our website. Legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support the display of web fonts, a standard font will be used instead.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found at https://fonts.google.com/ and in the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

Withdrawal of consent and objection to the processing of your data

We inform you that you can withdraw any consent you may have given to the processing of your data at any time. However, your withdrawal has no effect on data processing that has already taken place in the past. It only affects the future.

If we process your personal data on the basis of a consideration of interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you are entitled to object to the processing. We will carry out a consideration of interests in particular if the processing is not required to fulfil a contract with you.
